WDX Technologies is a systems engineering company based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. We design and deploy secure, resilient, vendor independent technology ecosystems for businesses ready to own their infrastructure.
ABOUT WDX
Built by an engineer.
Run like one.
BY THE NUMBERS
ORIGIN
An evolution, not a restart
WDX Technologies has operated since 2010. What started as a web design and development practice grew into something larger: a full-stack systems engineering company that builds the infrastructure, software, and AI systems businesses actually depend on.
The transition from web agency to systems engineering wasn’t a pivot. It was a natural progression. Every website led to a backend. Every backend led to infrastructure. Every infrastructure project led to the question nobody else was asking: how does all of this hold together when something breaks?
That question is what WDX answers now. For every client.
HOW WE WORK
Five principles. No exceptions.
01
Security First
Security is not a feature added at the end of a project. It is an architectural decision made at the beginning. Every system WDX designs has security considerations built into its foundation, not bolted on after deployment.
02
Open Source First
Open source tools give clients transparency, auditability, and control. WDX defaults to open-source across every layer of the stack. When proprietary tools are warranted, the reasoning is explicit and documented.
03
Vendor Unlocked
Every system WDX builds is designed so the client can understand, maintain, and modify it without WDX’s involvement. No black boxes. No lock-in. You own what we build. That is non-negotiable.
04
Systems Over Components
Tools don’t fail in isolation. The failure point is almost always at the boundary between systems. WDX designs for interoperability first, individual component performance second.
05
Real World Resillience
Production systems do not operate under ideal conditions. They face latency, partial failures, bad inputs, and human error. WDX designs for the conditions that actually exist, not the conditions that look good in a diagram.
These are not marketing statements. They are operational standards that govern every decision WDX makes, including decisions about our own internal infrastructure.
We run what we recommend. Our own stack is local-first, vendor-unlocked, and open-source. When we tell a client to go vendor-independent, we are already living it.
THE FOUNDER
Jeremiah Wolfe
Jeremiah Wolfe
Founder - WDX Technologies, LLC
I have been building technology systems since 2010. What started as web design and development work evolved into a practice focused on the harder problem: how do systems hold together under real-world conditions?
I am based in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and I work with healthcare organizations, manufacturers, and technical businesses that depend on their technology to operate reliably. My approach is systems-first: understand the full stack before recommending any changes, design for failure before designing for success.
My own infrastructure runs on open-source tools, self-hosted platforms, and vendor-independent architecture. When I tell clients to own their systems, it is because I already do. That alignment between what I practice and what I sell matters to me.
Outside of WDX, I run a public engineering lab at jeremiahwolfe.systems where I document real builds, experiments, and the things that break. I also write about systems, AI, and maker culture at The Infinite Workshop on Substack.
BEYOND WDX
Part of a larger ecosystem
WDX Technologies is the professional practice. Two companion platforms feed it with real world builds, documented experiments, and a community of engineers and makers.
PUBLIC LAB
jeremiahwolfe.systems
A public engineering lab where real systems are built, tested, and documented. Build logs, hardware prototypes, AI workflow experiments, and open-source tools. Every build that eventually becomes a WDX service offering starts here as a real-world proof of concept.
NEWSLETTER + COMMUNITY
The Infinite Workshop
A Substack newsletter and community for builders, engineers, and makers. The Infinite Workshop documents the real process of learning systems engineering, building AI tools, and making hardware. Not a course. Not a guru newsletter. A peer-driven space where people build alongside each other.
Work with WDX
Every engagement starts with a 15-minute discovery call. No pitch.
